Meet Rose: The Mastermind
Kia ora! I’m Rose Scott – a multidisciplinary creator with a love for storytelling in all its forms – brought to life through The Rose Creative. I hold a Bachelor of Communication, double-majoring in Digital Communication and Advertising & Brand Creativity, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Communication at Auckland University of Technology, where my research explores on-screen representations of neurodivergence in media.
I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember – a passion that naturally led me into the world of engagement and marketing. Professionally, I work as a Marketing & Engagement Coordinator across organisations such as Bike Auckland and AUT Ventures, where I manage social media, photograph events, and craft written content ranging from articles and newsletters to brand collateral. Thanks to these roles, my experience spans both the visual and strategic sides of communication, blending creativity with purpose.
Alongside my professional roles, I’ve built additional experience through internships, placements, and freelance projects, specialising in bringing stories to life through photography, videography, and graphic design. I shoot with my own Sony gear and use industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro to ensure every project meets a professional standard.
Outside of work and study, I’ve developed a deep passion for milestone photography – especially weddings, engagements, and couple shoots. There’s something incredibly special about capturing fleeting moments that last a lifetime. Whether I’m behind the camera or curating content, my goal is always the same: to tell stories that feel authentic, emotive, and real.

Meet Finn: My Right-Hand Creative Partner
Behind almost every project I take on, there’s someone you may not see in the spotlight: my business (and romantic) partner of nearly four years, Finn Robinson. Finn supports me across the business in all the ways that matter — from assisting with gear and setup to capturing behind-the-scenes moments and helping ensure every shoot runs smoothly.
We work as a tight, reliable team, and having both of us on set gives you the benefit of two creative minds and twice the capability. For bundle packages, I take the lead on photography while Finn supports with videography, allowing us to deliver a seamless, high-quality result from multiple angles.
Professionally, Finn is working toward his electrician apprenticeship and also practices welding — meaning he’s naturally hands-on, practical, and loves physically working and creating. That same energy comes with him to every shoot, making him an invaluable part of the behind-the-scenes magic.
Outside of work, Finn and I love going to the gym together, shopping for Pop Mart collectibles, and winding down with movies — but on shoot days, we’re a dedicated duo focused solely on bringing your vision to life.
